VOTER REGISTRATION

Voting is a right AND a privilege.

Nothing changes if you do not vote.

In order to vote in Wisconsin you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older, and a resident in the election district or ward in which you are voting for 28 consecutive days before the election.

You must register in order to vote in Wisconsin. You can register online up to 20 days before an election, by mail, in person at your clerk's office or in person at the polls on Election Day. In order to register, you must provide a proof of residence document

Once registered, you can vote early by mail, early in person at your clerk's office or in person at your polling place on Election Day. You must present a photo ID to receive your ballot. 

You can register to vote, confirm your existing voter registration, request a ballot by mail, track a ballot by mail, preview your ballot, contact your municipal clerk with questions, and find your polling place here.

POLITICAL PARTIES & PROGRESSIVE ORGANIZATIONS

Connecting with local, state and national political parties is an excellent way to stay informed and get involved if you are interested in doing so.

You do not need to be a member of any political party or organization in order to vote or to attend meetings.

These organizations often endorse candidates based on their areas of interest and are a great resource for information on specific issues and for determining which candidates best align with your values.
